- Gorey School of Art is a hive of creative activity where students and staff promote a wide range of activities within a positive atmosphere. New ideas are always encouraged and developed through learning, teaching and research that are studio based, face-to-face, professionally relevant and current. We are a small, highly focused school with a staff of practicing artists from around the country. The School is located in a community with internationally recognised artists set against a rural backdrop. The School is a creative hothouse where students flourish through project based blocks that allow for the development of artistic identities with an investigative sense that fosters innovation and critical thinking. As a prospective student, visitor or supporter of the School, we are always happy to answer any questions you may have about our courses and facilities.
